The 2011/2012 Spanish League title race is still on as FC Barcelona registered its 11th consecutive win in the Liga to stay in touch with Real Madrid (who had earlier beaten Sporting Gijon 3-1 at Bernabeu). Down 1-0 after Barkero scored a penalty (Hand from Busquets in the box), the Blaugrana were unable to pull level until the hour mark, when the Argentine superstar (brilliantly assisted by Alexis) took over, firing a brilliant strike (m. 64). He scored a penalty 8 minutes later after Cuenca had been pushed over in the box.
