La Liga Classification

Have a look at the La Liga classification. Twenty football clubs compete in the Spanish football League, which is considered to be one of the most competitive domestic leagues in the world. Each team face every other team twice -one match at home, the other match away- for a total of 38 matches per team along the course of the season.

At the end of the season, the first 4 teams are directly qualified for the next Champions League, thanks to Spain’s UEFA ranking. The 5th in the classification are directly qualified for the Europa League, while the 6th will qualify for the UEFA Europa conference League.

At the bottom of the table, the last 3 teams are relegated to La Liga2, the second division in Spanish football.
