For the sixth consecutive year, Real Madrid did not make it to the quarterfinals of the Champions League after tonight’s elimination in the last 16 of the competition. Three weeks after losing in Lyon (0-1) in the first leg of their matchup, they could not get a win, tonight, in their home stadium of Santiago Bernabeu.
