Pep Guardiola’s squad picked up their 7th title in a bit more than a year this evening, claiming the club 20th La Liga after cruising past Valladolid. FC Barcelona took control of the game after an own goal from Valladolid’s Prieto, followed quickly by a second from Pedro. Leo Messi completed the job with two second half goals which took him to an incredible 34 league goals, 47 in total for the season.

Just Valladolid stand in the way of FC Barcelona towards La Liga title after a nerve-wracking 2-3 win at Seville FC. The Blaugrana played brilliantly for 65 minutes to go three goals up by Cantera’s players (Messi, Bojan and Pedro) but then we suffered a lapse of concentration which allowed Seville, to score twice in the space of three minutes to set up a nail-biting finish.

FC Barcelona move four points above Real Madrid tonight after a tricky victory over Tenerife. Messi scored early on but a mistake from the FC Barcelona Captain Puyol led to a Tenerife equalizer before half time. Bojan fired the Blaugrana back into the lead just after the hour before late goals from Pedro and Messi sealed the win.

FC Barcelona’s dream of a Champions League final in the Santiago Bernabeu was frustrated tonight Inter Milan. Despite being reduced to ten men in the 28th minute when Thiaggo Motta was sent off, it wasn’t until the 84th minute that FC Barcelona finally broke through with a goal from Gerard Piqué… but this wasn’t enough…

Inter Milan defeated FC Barcelona (3-1) tonight in the Champions League semi final first leg. Pedro Rodriguez gave us a hopeful start by opening the scoring in the 19th minute but we failed to control the game and Inter hit back with goals from Sneijder, Maicon and Diego Milito.

FC Barcelona took a giant step towards claiming his second consecutive Liga tonight with a thoroughly deserved 0-2 win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. A first half goal from the unstoppable Leo Messi put the Blaugrana on the road to victory and Pedro added a second in the 56th minute which left Madrid floundering.

Two goal from Messi, one from Perdo and the last one from Bojan sent FC Barcelona to the quarter finals of this year Champions League. Even without Xavi and Ibrahimovic, the Blaugana had no problem to beat VfB Stuttgart in the second leg of the last sixteen. Real Madrid were top of the league for two hours tonight but FC Barcelona regained the top spot after an hard-worked victory over Malaga (2-1). After Pedro had put Barça in front, a equalizer from Valdo nine minutes before the final whistle looked like spoiling Barça’s night… but Messi scored a winner 4 minutes later to seal the win!
