In Argentina, some have recovered what may be the first newspaper interview with Lionel Messi. It was on September 3, 2000, in the supplement ‘Passion rojinegra’ from ‘The Capital’ newspapers of Rosario, his hometown. Messi was then 13 years old.

Little did he know that he would go on to become the best footballer in the World with multiple trophies (Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey, 2021 Copa America and the 2022 World Cup) as well as individual awards (Multiple Golden boots, 7 x Ballon d’Or, 7 x FIFA The Best)

An idol: Two, my dad and my godfather Jorge Claudio.

A coach: All of them, because of all the things I learned.

A physical trainer: Pablo Sanchez.

A Player: two, my brother and my cousin.

A team: Newell’s.

A hobby: Listening to music.

A type of music: quartet and cumbia.
