The LFP has confirmed the schedule for the 2020-2021 La Liga season. The Spanish championship will start on September 13, 2020 and last until May 23, 2021.
Due to the postponement of the FC Barcelona – Elche match counting for the first day of La Liga, Barça will start their season at home against Villarreal on September 27, 2020 at Camp Nou. The last game of the season will be at home, against celta Vigo on May 16, 2021.
